Anak DERHAKA?

Hak saya tetap hak saya.

Time is Gold

That's cliche'!

But still... some us don't really value our time. We were having a seminar (MUET: Writing) on Saturday (Oct 20,2012) and there were so many students who came late more than 15 minutes.

I was so furious for I have been waiting for the students since 7.45 AM in the morning. The seminar should be started at 8.30 AM... but due to this lack of punctuality, I was angry at them.

Being a teacher is not easy... we have to do everything to help our students to achieve the best results in MUET and also PSPM 1. We have to make sure that they receive the knowledge before sitting in the exam hall facing the questions which might not be easy for them to answer.

But still... some of the students don't feel that what we are doing for them is valuable for they tend to take things for granted.

I feel sad when I saw the latecomers came in smiling without feeling guilty for making us wait for them.

We started the seminar half an hour late... the bad news... I have to endure my anger towards my students... -SIGH-

Queen In Hyun's Man

I was so mesmerized with this story... the story line was so fascinating and interesting... the casts were brilliant and there were many funny scenes that made my heart fall in love with this drama.

The story depicts a life of a man which lives in the era of Joseon Dynasty in 1964. He had this talisman given by a slave girl in order to protect his life. He has so many enemies because he is the King's best friend. He has to endure so many unfortunate events during that era.

The talisman suddenly changes his life forever. He can travel from that era to our modern era. That is how the story begins...

For those Korean Drama fans.. you should watch this drama. I was happy with the story and how it ends.

The main four characters:

Oh My English!

I was quite surprised when I saw a foreigner was helping out some teachers while they were having their annual sport event last Sunday.

On Friday, I saw that man waving at some parents who were waiting for their kids in the school's compound. He even waved at me while smiling brightly.

I asked my son.. who is that man?

He simply answered : He is my English teacher. His name is Mr. William.

Now I get it... no wonder my twins enjoy watching the Oh My English! sitcom aired by Astro - they are having their own Mr. Middleton.

My twins dislike to learn English before this, they like to mock the language once they heard any English word from the TV shows. But, now, they are learning and enjoying the language even better.

I guess, a native speaker does help students to like the language better. Hmmm.... lucky them.
